A phone system that connects directly to Buildium
Click to call any resident, owner, or vendor from inside Buildium. Incoming calls open the matching record automatically. Call details can be added to Buildium on Premium plans with the Open API enabled.
What the Buildium integration does
Four capabilities that property managers actually use day to day. Honest scope on what works and what does not.
Click-to-call from Buildium
Phone numbers on resident, owner, and vendor profiles become clickable links. One click places the call from your desk phone, desktop app, or mobile app. No copy-paste, no manual dialing.
Resident screen pops
When a known resident calls in, our browser extension opens Buildium to their profile automatically. Your team sees rent status, lease information, and recent maintenance requests before they pick up the call.
Every call on record
Call details — date, time, duration, direction, and recording — are captured in your VoIP International portal for every resident, owner, and vendor call.
Field-team friendly
Maintenance coordinators and on-site managers using Pro Mobile get the same click-to-call and screen-pop experience on their cellular line as office staff get on desk phones.
How it works
Setup runs through our browser extension, installed in Chrome on each workstation in minutes.
Generate your API credentials
Your Buildium administrator generates a Client ID and Client Secret in Buildium's developer settings. These authorize our phone system to read resident, owner, and vendor data.
Connect to our phone system
Tell us how your team answers calls and we configure the screen pop — the extension opens the caller’s Buildium page the moment a call arrives.
Start making calls
Click any number in Buildium to place a call. Inbound calls from known numbers open the matching record. Call details are added to the matching record.
No separate integration fee.
The Buildium integration is included with phone service. You pay for the phone service plan — $17 or $29 per user per month — and the integration is bundled in.

Common questions about the Buildium integration
Honest answers about scope, requirements, and what's actually included.
Does this integration work with Buildium's residential and association products?
Yes. The integration uses Buildium's Open API, which covers both Buildium Residential and Buildium Association Management. The phone system reads resident, owner, board member, and vendor records the same way across both.
Do I need to pay extra for Buildium API access?
Buildium's Open API is available on their Premium subscription and is switched off by default — a Buildium administrator has to enable it in system preferences before any integration can connect. Our integration itself is included with our phone service at no extra charge, but your Buildium plan must include Open API access; your Buildium account manager can confirm pricing.
What does the integration cost from our side?
Nothing on top of phone service. The Buildium integration is bundled with phone service plans ($17 or $29 per user per month). No separate integration fee, no per-user surcharge.
What if a resident calls from a number that's not in Buildium?
Unknown-number calls still log into our phone system but do not write to Buildium since there is no matching record. This is a common prompt for your team to add a new prospect or applicant to Buildium when the call seems relevant.
Can my maintenance team use this on their personal phones?
Yes, with Pro Mobile. Pro Mobile gives every field employee a real business cellular line tied to the company — click-to-call and screen pops work on the cellular line the same as on office desk phones.
Does the integration slow Buildium down?
No. The screen pop runs in the browser through our extension — it opens Buildium pages the same way your team does, with no bulk syncs and no background traffic.
How long does setup take?
Most Buildium customers are live within a few business days. Installing the extension takes minutes; configuration and testing takes the rest of the time. No IT consultant required on your side.
