Setup is straightforward and uses Buildium's official Open API. No agent software on every workstation. No middleware to maintain.

Generate your API credentials

Your Buildium administrator generates a Client ID and Client Secret in Buildium's developer settings. These authorize our phone system to read resident, owner, and vendor data.

Connect to our phone system

Enter the credentials into our admin panel. We test the connection and confirm field mapping — which Buildium fields drive screen pops, which appear during a live call.

Start making calls

Click any number in Buildium to place a call. Inbound calls from known numbers open the matching record. Every call writes back automatically.

What if a resident calls from a number that's not in Buildium?

Unknown-number calls still log into our phone system but do not write to Buildium since there is no matching record. This is a common prompt for your team to add a new prospect or applicant to Buildium when the call seems relevant.

How does the integration handle rate limits from Buildium's API?

Buildium's API allows 10 requests per second. Our integration is well within that limit during normal operation — we read records as calls happen, not in bulk syncs. Heavy operations like initial setup are paced appropriately.

How long does setup take?

Most Buildium customers are live within a few business days. Credential generation takes minutes, field mapping and testing takes the rest of the time. No IT consultant required on your side.
