A phone system built for law firms
Direct Clio integration, reliable client intake routing, configurable call recording for compliance, AI Receptionist for after-hours new client inquiries, and Pro Mobile lines for attorneys who meet clients in the field. Built for solo practitioners, small firms, and growing multi-attorney practices.
What we offer for legal services
The same product line we offer everywhere — phone service, AI receptionist, business cellular — configured for the operational patterns specific to legal services.
Direct Clio integration
Calls log to Clio with matter association. Inbound calls show the caller's Clio contact and matter list. Dial directly from inside Clio. Built into standard phone service — not a paid add-on.
Reliable inbound routing for client intake
Missed new client inquiries are missed revenue. Routing handles overflow, after-hours, holidays, and unexpected gaps without dropping calls to a generic voicemail.
AI Receptionist for new client inquiries
$99/$199/$299 per month flat. Handles after-hours intake calls, qualifies the matter, takes messages with sufficient context for follow-up, and routes urgent matters to on-call attorneys.
Call recording with retention controls
Per-line configurable recording with retention policies you control. Useful for client communication review, dispute defense, and training. Florida is a two-party consent state — we configure for that in standard setup.
Pro Mobile for attorneys in the field
$42 to $62 per user per month. Real business cellular lines on personal phones. Outbound calls show the firm's number, not the attorney's personal cell. Business and personal calls stay separate.
Cloud fax for legal document exchange
vFAX from $25/month. Legal practice still relies heavily on fax for court filings, opposing counsel correspondence, and document exchange where compliant chain-of-custody matters.
How legal services get started with us
A typical deployment is 2 to 4 weeks end to end. For multi-location or larger operations, add a week.
Connect your Clio account
Authenticate via OAuth, select which matters and contacts sync to the phone system, and we handle the rest. Most firms complete the integration setup in under an hour.
Configure intake routing and recording
Set up intake ring groups, after-hours AI Receptionist coverage, and per-line recording policies aligned with your firm's compliance practice.
Roll out to attorneys and staff
Pre-configured Yealink phones ship and work when plugged in. Pro Mobile lines provision via eSIM on personal phones. Typical firm-wide rollout completes in 2 to 3 weeks.
No separate industry pricing.
Same /pricing as everyone else. The integration is built into standard phone service — not a paid add-on.

Common questions about phone service for legal services
Honest answers on integration depth, multi-location, scaling, and migration.
Does the Clio integration actually work or is it a 'compatible' marketing claim?
Real bi-directional integration. Inbound calls from a contact in Clio show that contact's matter list when the call arrives. Calls log to Clio automatically with date, time, duration, called number, and matter association. You can dial directly from inside Clio. Outbound calls log the same way. See /integrations/clio for the full functional capability list.
Are calls recorded by default?
No. Call recording is configurable per line, with the firm controlling who is recorded, retention periods, and access. State law varies on consent requirements — Florida is a two-party consent state, which we configure for in our standard setup. Talk to your firm's compliance counsel about the specific recording policy for your practice.
Can the system handle a 40-attorney firm with intake staff and after-hours coverage?
Yes. The phone system supports unlimited extensions, multi-tier ring groups, separate intake routing during business hours, AI Receptionist for after-hours and overflow, and full call logging to Clio. We have customers at and above that size.
Can attorneys make outbound calls from their personal phones without exposing their cell number?
Yes — this is what Pro Mobile is built for. Each attorney gets a business cellular line on their personal phone via eSIM. Outbound calls show the firm's business number, not their personal cell. Inbound business calls go to the business line; personal calls go to the personal line. They are completely separate.
What's the migration path for a firm in active litigation?
We can run dual-line during migration so no inbound calls are dropped. Most firms migrate by porting phone numbers gradually over 1 to 2 weeks rather than cutting over all at once. Active litigation is not a barrier — we have done migrations for firms actively in trial.
What about practice management platforms other than Clio?
Clio is our deepest direct integration on the legal side. For other case management platforms, we typically integrate via SIP/CTI rather than first-party API. We can walk through specifics during evaluation if you're on a different platform.
How much does the full legal setup actually cost?
A typical small-firm setup: Phone Service ($32/user/month for the all-inclusive plan with built-in Clio integration), AI Receptionist Starter ($99/month flat) for after-hours intake, vFAX Standard ($25/month) for court filings. For a 5-attorney firm with 2 staff that's about $348/month total. Larger firms scale linearly on the per-user pieces. Everything is on /pricing.
