Do you integrate with Jane App, Mindbody, or other wellness PM software directly?
Not currently. Jane App does not expose a public API, so a direct integration is not technically possible. Mindbody has an API; we are tracking demand for direct integration and have not built it yet. The phone system works well alongside any wellness practice management software as a parallel system — calls happen on our platform, appointments and records stay in your PM software. If integration with your specific PM software is critical, mention it during evaluation.
Is the AI Receptionist appropriate for booking massage or acupuncture appointments?
Yes. The AI is configured per practice — for wellness clinics, this typically means handling new-patient inquiries, booking initial intakes, confirming appointments, and routing urgent calls to a live provider. The AI does not provide clinical advice and is not designed to. Configuration is set during onboarding to match how your front desk normally handles bookings.
Can the AI handle insurance verification questions?
Limited. The AI can answer common general questions about whether you accept certain insurance types if you provide that information in the knowledge base. It does not run individual benefit verifications — that is still a human task. For insurance-heavy practices like PT, this matters: the AI handles intake routing, your team handles the verification calls.
Can my traveling practitioners use this on personal phones?
Yes, with Pro Mobile. Practitioners traveling between locations or seeing patients at home get a real business cellular line on their personal phone. Calls show the practice's number, not the practitioner's personal cell.
Will the integration handle BAA-required communication audit logs?
Yes. Our HIPAA-compliant configuration includes audit logging suitable for compliance review — who placed which call, when, and how long. Whether call recordings are retained is your policy decision.
Can we record sessions for clinical documentation?
Recording is supported per-line and per-call. For wellness practices specifically, recording is rare — most calls don't warrant it, and recording patient conversations carries privacy weight beyond standard HIPAA exposure. Most practices configure recording as off-by-default with case-by-case activation.
What does it cost for a typical 3-provider wellness practice?
Roughly: 4-5 phone service users at $32/month all-inclusive (front desk, providers, treatment rooms) plus AI Receptionist Professional at $199/month plus HIPAA add-on at $49/month — total around $400-450/month. Pro Mobile is extra if practitioners travel ($42 to $62 per user).
How long does setup take?
Most wellness practices are live within 1 to 2 weeks. BAA review and HIPAA configuration takes the longest; once those are complete, phones and AI Receptionist provision quickly.
