Authorize the connection

Your AppFolio administrator grants access via OAuth 2.0. This is the same kind of "allow this app" flow you use for any modern software integration. No passwords are shared with us.

Set your field mapping

We use AppFolio's REST API to read tenant, owner, and vendor records — including phone numbers, property assignments, and current balances. You decide which fields drive screen pops and which appear during a call.

Make a call

Click any phone number in AppFolio to place a call. Receive a call from a known number, and AppFolio opens to the matching record. Every interaction logs back automatically.

The AppFolio integration is included with phone service. You pay for the phone service plan — $17 or $32 per user per month — and the integration is bundled in.

Do I need to be on a specific AppFolio plan to use this integration?

The integration works with AppFolio Core, Plus, and Max plans. AppFolio's API access is available across these tiers; we do not require a specific plan to enable the integration on our side.

Is this integration listed in the AppFolio Stack marketplace?

Marketplace listing is a separate AppFolio partner certification process. The integration itself is fully functional through AppFolio's public API regardless of marketplace listing status. If marketplace visibility is critical for your IT team's approval process, let us know during evaluation.

What does the integration cost?

Nothing extra. The integration is included with phone service — there is no separate integration fee or per-user surcharge. You pay for the phone service plan ($17 or $32 per user per month) and the AppFolio integration is bundled in.

Can my field team use this on their phones?

Yes. Maintenance coordinators and leasing agents using Pro Mobile get the same click-to-call and screen-pop experience on their cellular line as office staff get on desk phones. How does call logging handle calls from numbers that are not in AppFolio?

Unknown-number calls still log into the phone system, but they do not write to AppFolio records since there is no match. Most teams use this as a prompt to either add a new lead to AppFolio or let the call drop into their normal voicemail/queue handling.

Does the integration support outbound campaign calling or mass dialing?

No. The integration is built for normal one-to-one business calls — tenants calling about maintenance, vendors calling about scheduling, leasing prospects following up. It is not a power dialer for marketing campaigns. If high-volume outbound is part of your operation, talk to us about a different setup.

What happens when we add a new property or new tenant in AppFolio?

The integration reads AppFolio data live via the API. New tenants, new owners, and new vendors appear in the integration automatically as soon as they are added in AppFolio. No syncing schedule, no nightly batches.

How long does setup take?

Most AppFolio customers are live within a few business days. The OAuth authorization step takes minutes; field mapping and testing takes the rest of the time. We do not require an IT consultant on your side.
