Cookie Policy
What's in this Cookie Policy
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember your preferences, recognize you on return visits, and measure how the site is being used. Some cookies are essential for the site to function; others are optional.
This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies we use on voip-int.com and what choices you have about them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
2. Types of cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the website to work. They enable basic functions like page navigation, form submission, secure session handling, and load balancing. You can't opt out of these cookies because the site won't work without them.
Examples: session identifier, CSRF protection token, language preference, customer portal authentication.
2.2 Functional cookies
These remember choices you make (such as your preferred view) to provide a smoother experience. They don't track you across other sites.
2.3 Analytics cookies
These help us understand how visitors use our site — which pages they visit, where they came from, what they click on — so we can improve the site. The data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals.
We may use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics or similar). If we do, those services set their own cookies. We configure analytics to anonymize IP addresses where possible.
2.4 Marketing & advertising cookies
If enabled, these cookies help us measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns (for example, knowing whether someone who clicked a Google Ad later requested a quote). We do not use cookies to build cross-site advertising profiles, and we do not allow third-party ad networks to track our visitors across other websites.
3. Third-party cookies & analytics
Some cookies on our site are set by third parties we use to provide functionality:
- Google Analytics — site traffic measurement; see Google's privacy policy for details
- Google Ads — conversion measurement for ads we run; see Google's policies
- Embedded content — if we embed a video, map, or third-party tool, that provider may set cookies governed by their own privacy policy
4. Your choices & controls
4.1 Cookie banner
When you first visit our site, you'll see a cookie banner with options. You can accept all cookies, accept only strictly necessary cookies, or customize your preferences. You can change your preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.
4.2 Browser controls
You can also control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block cookies, delete existing cookies, or alert you when cookies are being set. Note that blocking all cookies will break some site functionality (you won't be able to log into the customer portal, for example).
4.3 Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. There is currently no industry standard for how to interpret this signal. We honor user choices through our cookie banner and browser controls rather than the DNT signal alone.
4.4 Opt-out tools
For advertising cookies specifically, you can opt out via industry tools:
- Digital Advertising Alliance: optout.aboutads.info
- Network Advertising Initiative: optout.networkadvertising.org
- European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: youronlinechoices.eu
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as our site or applicable law changes. The "Effective Date" at the top reflects the current version. For material changes we will provide notice via the cookie banner.
